Description
Quick and easy chicken skewers coated in crispy breadcrumbs and served with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
- Skewers (if wooden, soak in water beforehand)
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the flour with salt and pepper in one bowl. Place the beaten egg in another bowl. Add breadcrumbs to a third bowl.
- Dip each chicken piece first into the flour, ensuring it’s well-coated. Then, move it to the beaten egg, and finally, roll it in the breadcrumbs until completely covered.
- Carefully thread the coated chicken onto the skewers, making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Place the skewers into the air fryer basket, leaving some space for air to circulate freely.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, prepare the Bang Bang sauce. Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a separate bowl until smooth.
- Serve the skewers hot with the Bang Bang sauce on the side for a delightful dip.
Notes
Feel free to customize the chicken with additional seasonings or use different dipping sauces.
