Description

Quick and easy chicken skewers coated in crispy breadcrumbs and served with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Skewers (if wooden, soak in water beforehand)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the flour with salt and pepper in one bowl. Place the beaten egg in another bowl. Add breadcrumbs to a third bowl.
  3. Dip each chicken piece first into the flour, ensuring it’s well-coated. Then, move it to the beaten egg, and finally, roll it in the breadcrumbs until completely covered.
  4. Carefully thread the coated chicken onto the skewers, making sure not to overcrowd them.
  5. Place the skewers into the air fryer basket, leaving some space for air to circulate freely.
  6. Cook for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare the Bang Bang sauce. Mix the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a separate bowl until smooth.
  8. Serve the skewers hot with the Bang Bang sauce on the side for a delightful dip.
