Description

Delightfully crispy and nutritious, these Air Fryer Sweet Potato Cubes are the perfect side dish or snack. Seasoned with paprika and garlic powder, they are a versatile, flavor-packed treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 23 medium sweet potatoes (about 3.5 cups peeled and cubed)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (or olive oil cooking spray)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sweet potatoes: Start by washing and drying the sweet potatoes. Peel off the skin and cut into 1/2-3/4 inch cubes.
  2. Season the potatoes: Place the cubed sweet potatoes into a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Preheat the air fryer: Set to 400°F for 2-3 minutes if it doesn’t have a preheat function.
  4. Air Fry the sweet potatoes: Lightly spray the basket, add the potatoes in an even layer, and cook for 14-17 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Let them rest: After cooking, allow the sweet potatoes to rest inside the air fryer for 3-5 minutes for extra crispiness.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Enjoy these warm sweet potato cubes as a side dish or snack.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding lime zest, dried herbs, or spices like cayenne. Leftover sweet potato cubes can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
