- 1 can of crescent roll dough
- 2 medium apples (preferably Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon butter (melted)
- Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples: Peel, core, and chop the apples into small pieces. Toss them in a bowl with brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice, and melted butter.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean, flat surface.
- Fill the crescents: Place a small spoonful of the apple mixture on the wider end of each triangle of dough.
- Roll the crescent dough around the filling, starting from the wide end.
- Bake the apple pie bites for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
For best results, prepare the apple filling in advance. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
