Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can canned tuna
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup pickle relish
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 4 slices bread (your choice—white, wheat, or baguette)

Instructions

  1. Combine the canned tuna, mayonnaise, pickle relish, chopped celery, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Mix until well combined, allowing the flavors to meld together.
  3. Spread the tuna mixture onto slices of bread to assemble the sandwiches.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.

Notes

Make the tuna salad in advance and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days. For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise.
