Description

A heartwarming and easy-to-make sandwich featuring crispy turkey bacon and gooey cheddar on perfectly toasted sourdough, ideal for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • Turkey slices
  • Turkey bacon
  • Fresh spinach
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Sourdough bread
  • Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove from skillet and drain on paper towels.
  3. In the same skillet, add the turkey slices and sauté until warmed through, just a few minutes will do!
  4. Build your sandwich by layering turkey, cooked turkey bacon, fresh spinach, and cheddar cheese between two slices of your favorite bread.
  5. Butter the outside of the sandwich generously to ensure that perfect golden crust.
  6. Place the sandwich in the skillet and cook until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-5 minutes per side.
  7. Slice and serve warm, allowing that cheddar to ooze out just a little!

Notes

Customize your melt with toppings like avocado, red pepper flakes, or fresh herbs. Storing leftovers in an airtight container is recommended for 2 days.
