Description

A cozy casserole combining creamy tortellini, tender broccoli, and gooey cheese for an easy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz tortellini
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (mozzarella or a blend)
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, adding the broccoli in the last 2-3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream, broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the tortellini and broccoli mixture until well coated.
  5. Place half of the mixture in a greased baking dish and layer with half of the shredded cheese.
  6. Add the remaining tortellini mixture on top and top with the remaining cheese and parmesan.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbling and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
