Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté the onions and garlic in a skillet until soft.
- Combine the heavy cream, cheese, sautéed onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, overlapping them.
- Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the potatoes.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with freshly chopped herbs before serving.
