Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 cups chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add ginger and garlic, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and bean sprouts, stir-frying for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions, then drain and add to the pan with vegetables.
  5. Add the cooked chicken back to the pan and pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions for that lovely fresh taste.
