  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips with a gentle hand.
  6. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers remain soft and gooey.
  8. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
