Description

A creamy, golden casserole bursting with the sweet flavor of corn, perfect for family gatherings and potlucks.


Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) corn (drained) or 2 cups fresh or frozen corn
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and melted butter in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the corn, cornmeal, sugar, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, mixing throughout the batter.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, ensuring it spreads evenly.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and set.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
