- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 packet (1 oz) Italian dressing mix
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 12 oz angel hair pasta
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot, laying them flat so they soak up all that wonderful sauce.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cream cheese, Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
- Pour the luscious mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-420 minutes or until the chicken is tender and ready to be shredded.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions until it’s perfectly al dente.
- Once the chicken has cooked, shred it right in the crock pot with two forks.
- Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked angel hair pasta.
- Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness, if desired.
