Description

Cozy up with these delicious Easy Stuffed Shells filled with creamy cheese and topped with marinara sauce. Perfect for family dinners and gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/4 cup fresh herbs (e.g., basil, parsley), finely chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente; drain well.
  3. Mix together the ricotta, mozzarella, parmesan, fresh herbs, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined and creamy.
  4. Stuff each cooked shell generously with the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, covering it completely.
  6. Arrange the stuffed shells in the dish, open side up, and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top for that irresistible cheesy crust.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

These stuffed shells can be made a day in advance and refrigerated before baking. Adjust baking time as necessary.
