Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract in another bowl.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined; a few lumps are okay.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
  6. Watch for bubbles to form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Leftover pancakes can be stored in the fridge for up to three days. Freeze for longer storage.
