Description

Warm and comforting ham and cheese sliders, perfect for gatherings and making memories.


Ingredients

  • 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
  • 8 slices of ham
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally without separating them.
  3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  4. Layer the ham and Swiss cheese on top of the bottom rolls, ensuring every inch is wonderfully covered.
  5. Place the top half of the rolls on the cheese, gently pressing them down.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, and if you’re feeling zesty, the Dijon mustard.
  7. Brush the buttery mixture generously over the top of the rolls, letting it soak in for extra deliciousness.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the sliders turn golden and bubbly.
  9. Serve warm, and watch your loved ones gather around for seconds!
