Description

A warm and cozy apple crumble made with tender apples, gooey honey, and a crunchy oat topping, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup nuts (such as walnuts or almonds)
  • Yogurt or milk (for serving)
  • Ice cream (optional, for dessert)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the sliced apples, cinnamon, and honey in a large bowl. Mix well and spread evenly in a baking dish.
  3. Mix the rolled oats and chopped nuts together in another bowl. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the apples.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  5. Serve warm with yogurt or milk for a cozy breakfast, or indulge with a scoop of ice cream for a comforting dessert.

Notes

Make the apple mixture a day in advance for convenience. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
