Description

A cozy bowl of healthy turkey chili, packed with lean protein, fiber-rich beans, and fresh vegetables.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat some oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper, sautéing until softened.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and chicken broth.
  6. Bring to a simmer and cook for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot, optionally garnished with your favorite toppings.

Notes

Customize with jalapeños for extra spiciness or Greek yogurt for creaminess. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
