Description

Deliciously sticky Honey BBQ Chicken Wings that are crispy, sweet, and perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 Kg Chicken Wings
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 3/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Cut the chicken wings into drumettes and wingettes, discarding the tips if desired.
  3. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the baking powder, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper over the wings.
  5. Mix thoroughly to coat each wing evenly with the spices.
  6. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and parchment paper and arrange the wings in a single layer.
  7. Bake the wings in the oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Flip the wings and bake for another 20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Mix the BBQ sauce and honey in a bowl.
  10. Transfer the wings to a large mixing bowl and toss them in the honey BBQ sauce until fully coated.
  11. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicy kick, add cayenne pepper to the spice mix. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
