Description
Delicious no-bake Irish Cream Oreo Truffles, rich in chocolate and perfect for any cozy occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Oreo cookies
- 1/2 cup non-alcoholic Irish cream substitute (like coffee creamer)
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Optional: Cocoa powder or crushed Oreos for dusting
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos: In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until fine crumbs form.
- Mix the Ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the non-alcoholic Irish cream substitute. Mix until well combined.
- Shape Into Balls: Scoop small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls approximately 1 inch in diameter.
- Chill the Balls: Place the formed truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth.
- Dip the Truffles: Using a fork, dip each refrigerated truffle into the melted chocolate.
- Return to Baking Sheet: Place the dipped truffles back on the baking sheet.
- Add Toppings: Before the chocolate hardens, dust the truffles with cocoa powder or crushed Oreos.
- Chill Again: Refrigerate until the chocolate hardens completely.
- Serve and Enjoy: Once set, enjoy these delightful truffles with family and friends!
Notes
These truffles can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container in the fridge; they taste even better after a day of chilling. Experiment with different flavors of cream and chocolate!
