Description

Delightful and creamy jalapeño popper wonton cups, perfect for cozy gatherings and as a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • 4 strips of turkey bacon
  • 23 fresh jalapeños, chopped
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  3. Combine the cooked bacon, chopped jalapeños, cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, and sour cream in a mixing bowl.
  4. Lightly grease a muffin tin, and gently press the wonton wrappers into the cups.
  5. Fill each wonton cup generously with the creamy mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy!

Notes

Make the filling a day ahead for convenience. Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a healthier option.
