Description

A quick and easy recipe for perfectly baked chicken breasts that are juicy and flavorful, perfect for a family dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized chicken breasts (about 2 pounds)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or avocado oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a large baking dish.
  2. Using a meat pounder or rolling pin, pound the thickest part of each chicken breast until evenly thick.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to a bowl and toss with all spices and oil until evenly coated.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the greased baking dish, spaced apart.
  5. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  6. Allow the chicken to rest for several minutes before slicing, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

Marinate chicken overnight for enhanced flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
