Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl until thoroughly combined.
  3. Mix the milk, melted butter, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, gently stirring until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tins, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool for a few minutes in the tin before transferring them to a wire rack.
