- 1 ½ tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 lb (450 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Wash and trim the fresh green beans, then pat them dry thoroughly.
- Toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until fully coated.
- Spread the green beans out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Sprinkle the green beans with grated Parmesan and return to the oven for an additional 2–3 minutes until the cheese is melty and browned.
- Serve immediately, with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired.
Notes
