Description

A comforting one-pan meal that combines ground beef, rice, and vegetables for a hearty dinner ready in no time.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: shredded cheese, green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the rice and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the diced tomatoes and beef broth; bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes until rice is cooked.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Top with optional shredded cheese and green onions before serving.

Notes
