- 1 pound turkey sausage (or ham/turkey bacon)
- 1 package (30 oz) frozen hashbrowns
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the turkey sausage (or chosen meat) in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Combine hashbrowns, cooked sausage, and half of the cheese in a large bowl. Spread this mixture evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Beat the eggs with milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in another bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture over the hashbrown mixture. Top with remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes or until eggs are set and golden on top.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared a day in advance and is perfect for meal prep. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
