Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Italian sausage (remove casing)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add the sausage and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, letting them sauté for another minute.
  5. Pour in the marinara sauce and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing it gently to coat in the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as needed.
  8. Serve with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan and a garnish of fresh parsley.
