Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sourdough starter
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the sourdough starter, water, and salt in a large bowl. Stir in the flour until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and soft.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for 4-5 hours or until doubled in size.
  4. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a floured baking sheet, allowing it to rise for another 2-3 hours.
  5. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  6. Score the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the loaf cool fully before slicing it.

Notes
