Description

A warm, hearty breakfast bowl featuring crispy tater tots, creamy sausage gravy, and fluffy scrambled eggs.


Ingredients

  • Tater tots
  • Eggs
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Beef sausage
  • Milk
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Butter

Instructions

  1. Cook tater tots according to package instructions until crispy.
  2. In a skillet, cook sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour. Cook for 1 minute until it’s slightly bubbly and fragrant.
  4. Slowly add milk, whisking until thick. Add cooked sausage, salt, and pepper.
  5. Scramble eggs in a separate pan, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  6. To serve, layer crispy tater tots, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy. Top with shredded cheese.

Notes

Make ahead the sausage gravy and store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
