- 1/2 cup shredded coconut

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
- Cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Mix in the dry ingredients gradually until just incorporated.
- Fold in the chopped mango, shredded coconut, and macadamia nuts (if using).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them to allow for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
For a zesty twist, add lime zest or drizzle melted dark chocolate over cooled cookies. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
