Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs potatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked turkey bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup additional cheddar cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender, then drain and cool slightly.
  3. Peel and mash the potatoes in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
  4. Stir in sour cream, cream cheese, milk, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, green onions, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with additional cheddar cheese for that glorious, gooey finish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
