Description

A refreshing coleslaw with a tangy dressing, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 small head green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 1 small head red cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 large carrots, grated
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the green cabbage, red cabbage, and grated carrots.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, vegetable oil, sugar, salt, pepper, and celery seeds if using.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture.
  4. Toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors before serving.
